You will find in this portfolio my science education personal philosophy, examples of lessons I taught and plans, student work and how their work was assessed. I found that when I was on this journey, delving into the science world, that I learned more about myself as an educator. I had to step out of my comfort zone, which is reading and writing, to move into how things work in terms of science. I love the wonder of science but really had to push myself in order to show and engage this wonder to the students. I enjoyed moving to a different curriculum and am continuing to work with some of the theories that we learned about in our journey to teaching science in my teaching today.
